I'm trying not to lose my cool when life don't seem fair.
That's the first line in AFSHEEN's second single, "F All The Stress", from his upcoming album Happy Tunes. This week comes with uncertainty and for many, a level of anxiety we're not used to. Yesterday, November 3, 2020 was Election Day in the United States so, today I want to showcase an artist with the power to submerge anyone into a brighter relaxed atmosphere.
AFSHEEN is an Iran-born producer/songwriter/musician/artist/DJ based in Los Angeles. He first broke out in 2013 staying behind the scenes by writing and producing songs for the biggest artists in music today, including Madonna, Janet Jackson, Selena Gomez, Sia, Kygo and many others. What you see in this post is the beginning of his personally crafted sound, mixing his amazing songwriting and eclectic production style. This song specifically stood out to me for its ability to make me forget about every single worry resting on my shoulders.

Many of us are or were going through similar emotions and could use an uplifting mellow production like this one to pull us away from the stress of the moment. Futuristic pop synths, drums and sweet vocals create a sound filled with funky and elevating vibes. You know Airheads Xtreme Sour Belts Candy? Imagine every line is a new color in the Xtreme color rainbow, each with a new rush of optimism and energy -- every energy composed of its own color.
The song mentions not being able to sleep due to everything that makes people restless and anxious. It's so easy to get wrapped up in preoccupations and forget to take mental and emotional breaks -- AFSHEEN reminds us to let go for life - to stop worrying - to chill. There are lines in the song acknowledging the hard moments in life, "yeah I know it's been a long ride," and maybe with that there can come points where it feels like you're on thin ice. Lucky for you, that doesn't matter after you remember you hold the power in your life and you decide when letting go is an option, not the other way around.

Thank you for giving us such a wonderful piece of easiness and helping us look at our lives in rose-tinted glasses. AFSHEEN already is a very successful songwriter and producer but now, he's here to share his independent work as an artist in the most organic and positive manner through Happy Tunes, the ultimate feel-good album expected for November 11, 2020. In the meantime don't worry - he's released two other singles from the album to give a better taste of what's to come. I hope you enjoyed and felt the warmth.
